Bottom-up analysis

Nested surveys: datasets with increasingly higher resolution, but therefore reduced spatial coverage, are providing additional detail to support the interpretation of seabed habitats. Finding the quantitative link between those scales is the challenge. (Photography, ROV-based bathymetry, TOBI sidescan sonar and ship-borne bathymetry.)

Top-down analysis
